ANCOS
ANCOS is a complete show control solution ideally suited to both large and small scale audiovisual and mixed media attractions.
ANCOS allows multiple channels of digital, servo, serial and Ethernet control messages to be synchronised to an optional audio channel, providing fully integrated control of lighting systems, AV systems, video servers, sound processors, animatonics and much more.
The ANCOS Controller supports a variety of control protocols allowing a wide range of hardware to be controlled via USB or Ethernet connections. An optional USB to Serial interface allows bi-directional RS-232 control, while a USB to DMX512 interface allows full control of DMX lighting systems. Digital inputs and outputs are provided by the addition of one or more ANCOS Digital Interface Modules.
Digital outputs can also be provided using our DMX Relay (in conjunction with a USB to DMX interface). Each DMX Relay unit converts one DMX channel into 8 output relays.
ANCOS show programming is quick and straightforward with the fully integrated and easy-to-use timeline-based graphical interface. Real-time or non-linear programming is possible via a keyboard and mouse, and by using an optional game pad or MIDI-USB control surface (e.g. the Korg nanoKontrol™). ANCOS shows can be run automatically or in response to external stimuli like button presses, presence detectors or command messages sent over serial or Ethernet.
With its simple and versatile design ANCOS will find many applications in Theme Parks, Museums, Heritage Centres and other Visitor Attractions.
